Harmony 13 Multifuel Stove

I have decided to replace the stove in our lounge with a new Euroheat Harmony 13 from Suffolk Stoves.
They were very helpful and matched the best price I could find.

The impressive thing about this stove, apart from the great efficiency, is the ability to add a remote control which really appeals to me as I love geeky features! The remote gives the ability to control the fire from my armchair and also automates the stove with thermostatic control and timer operation. I should be able to set it to come to life in the morning after slumbering on a low setting overnight. My wife has forbidden me to install the new stove before Christmas because of the mess, but I intend to lower the fireplace base to give better clearance above the stove as soon as I can. I will also fit a sheet metal register plate in the chimney opening to prevent heat escaping up the chimney.

Our current stove, an Aarrow Becton 11 is actually far too big for the room, so I will be looking to sell it, to help fund the new one. It is six years old and in great condition. Contact me through my Alternative Technology website if you are interested.
