200 Watt Turbine

Here is the latest picture of my Navitron 200 watt wind turbine as discussed in my last post. It is in a slightly different position to my previous Rutland, as that was right against the fence and there was no room for guy wires. I enlisted two neighbours to help me get the pole upright. We cheated by attaching a rope to the nearby tree for additional help. The tree is due east of the turbine and does obstruct it from that direction, but the wind is more usually from the unobstructed south west.
